Download aesthetic iphone Wallpapers Hello everyone! My name is Emily and I blog over at Our house now a home where I share all about my home, creating a space that works for my family of 5, and helping others find and create a dream space for their home. I like to celebrate all homes. I enjoy creating new pieces, up-cycling, and anything DIY. I am so excited that Erin is letting me guest post. I have been a fan for a long
Turquoise Interior Design IdeasLet's be simple and get to the point? We all come to House of Turquoise because we're addicted to turquoise interiors and let's face it, no one shows them better than Erin, right? When Erin, a friend of mine for years now, asked to prepare a post for this blog, I knew I would enjoy every second of it, not only because I adore this place just as much as you do, but
It was a little over a year ago that my family and I spent a week on Tybee Island (remember where we stayed...ahhh!). While we were there I had an opportunity to tour Cottage on the Green, this absolutely delightful cottage designed by Jane Coslick! I sure wish my photos did it justice, nothing really captures the joy I felt right after I stepped in the door! Something about Jane's designs
I always get excited when Thibaut comes out with a new collection–and for the beautiful new inspirational photos that go along with it! I can't tell you how much I'm loving Trade Routes, their newest collection of coordinating wallpaper, print and embroidered fabrics inspired by handcrafted and primitive techniques from faraway places. They are all absolutely gorgeous...and you haven't even seen
This Santa Barbara, California vacation home by Jodi G Designs is a true reflection of the homeowners; a vivacious, art-loving couple who wanted a welcoming refuge for friends and family. Located just steps from their main house, this coastal getaway is vibrant and fun (perfect for their visiting grandchildren!) but also a sophisticated showcase of their incredible fine art collection. Love how
The light flowing through this beautiful home in Spain designed by Cristina Mateus of Atmósfera Reformas e Interiorismo could not be any more beautiful! I am so in love with the family room here. Those big doors that open right up into the garden, the cozy layers of texture, cheery pops of color, built-in shelves...it's all so beautiful! Love how they added the neat window in the kitchen to bring
Once again Rhode Island interior designer Jocelyn Chiappone of Digs Design Company has blown me away! She recently completed this Newport home that is both elegant and livable, with a beautiful breezy color palette that makes me swoon! I love all the windows in the home, especially in the kitchen and family room. It all feels so bright and inviting! Love the mix and match of patterns in the
I wish I could be back in Seaside! Fantasea Campe is a beautifully decorated cottage just a few houses down from the beach in the idyllic Florida community. The serene beachy hues and nautical touches give a nod to the coastal setting, but would look just as lovely in any landlocked locale! I wish I knew the paint colors that were used, but I'm getting a strong Sherwin-Williams 'Sea Salt’ vibe!
I can't even fathom having a view like that! Interior designer Cynthia Collins of the Dallas-based firm Collins Interiors and Cronk Duch Architecture made sure the jaw-dropping ocean view took center stage in this incredible Ponte Vedra, Florida home. It's light and bright, filled with great texture and fun pops of color–including beautiful splashes of blue to complement the picturesque
Not only is the outside of this home picture perfect (and in the most idyllic Cape Cod setting!), the blue-infused interior spaces are beautiful too! I knew right when I saw it that it had to be from Polhemus Savery DaSilva Architects Builders, and I was right, they designed and built the incredible home! I love those turquoise board shutters with the starfish cutouts SO much! (They're painted
I told you we were in for some fun today! The basement of this Mapleton, Utah dream home designed by Lindy Allen of Four Chairs Furniture has something for everyone! Once again the builder, Davies Development, brought dreams to life. Not only did this family want their home to be beautiful, but functionality and comfort were a top priority. We definitely saw that upstairs in the main living area,

If I was driving around Nags Head, NC, you can bet I'd stop and take a photo of this cheery turquoise cottage! How fun that we get to actually tour the inside! The Tale of a Mermaid was built around 1953, but received a total renovation a few years back. I love that they kept all the original charm while adding some modern comforts! The cottage's decor definitely reflects its location...the beach
When it comes to creating elegant yet functional spaces, Tracy Gilmore of Gilmore Design Studio out of Santa Monica, California is a true expert! Her style is classic, clean and comfortable, which is exactly what I love about this beautiful home she designed, captured by Gilmore Photography! Well, that and all the accents in pretty shades of blue! The dining room took my breath away. Love the
With stunning views of Lake Erie right outside the window, this waterside cottage designed by Natalie Hodgins and Kate Stuart of Sarah Richardson Design has all the charm of an older home, despite it being brand new! No doubt the view inspired the summery color palette. Love all the blues and greens! So many great vintage pieces throughout give the home such a lived-in, collected look, as
This Sullivan’s Island, South Carolina home by Cortney Bishop Design is an absolute dream!! The West Coast-meets-East Coast vibe is a true reflection of Steve and Lynne Hamontree, a California-raised surfer and his artist wife. (You can spot a lot of her amazing work throughout their home!) My favorite area of the home is the master bedroom and adjacent sitting room. The turquoise grasscloth
If anyone has design in their genes, it's Elizabeth Pyne! The NYC-based designer is the third generation in her family to work at McMillen Inc., America's oldest decorating firm, and is currently the head of its offshoot McMillen Plus. I am in love with this apartment she designed that was featured in the July/August issue of House Beautiful, photographed by Ngoc Minh Ngo. Inspired by the wife's
I wish we could all take a giant field trip to just go and gawk at all the amazing houses along 30A in Florida! This dreamy coastal home by Borges Brooks Builders is located in WaterSound, just one of the many dreamy communities along the scenic highway. The crisp white planked walls, breezy blue accents (the kitchen–oh my word!), gorgeous fireplace, soaring ceilings, fab light fixtures, windows
