If I was driving around Nags Head, NC, you can bet I'd stop and take a photo of this cheery turquoise cottage! How fun that we get to actually tour the inside! The Tale of a Mermaid was built around 1953, but received a total renovation a few years back. I love that they kept all the original charm while adding some modern comforts! The cottage's decor definitely reflects its location...the beach
